In the bustling heart of Taiwan’s innovation landscape, 886 Studios was born with a singular mission: to foster and grow Taiwan’s startup ecosystem. Named after Taiwan's international country code, 886 Studios embodies a commitment to Taiwan’s future in tech, talent, and innovation.

In our early days, 886 Studios operated as a venture studio to help start new companies. We quickly realized that while our model was effective, the process of assisting startups could be streamlined to achieve faster and more impactful results. This insight drove us to rethink our approach and led to the creation of the ikigai Launchpad, our startup accelerator designed to propel founders and startups toward global growth.

Our vision is simple: create an environment where founders can thrive with the right mix of funding, mentorship, resources, and networks. We draw on decades of experience building and investing in iconic companies, combining that with an intimate understanding of Taiwan’s unique strengths and opportunities.
