What is the ikigai Venture Scout program?
The ikigai Venture Scout program is our campus discovery network for early founders. Scouts spot promising teams at clubs, hackathons, and in their circles, then connect them to ikigai Launchpad in Taipei.
Each accepted startup in ikigai Launchpad receives 100k in funding, weekly Office Hours with our partners, workshops, a lineup of guest speakers, office space in Taipei, and a curated Demo Day.
We are powered by 886 Studios, founded by Taiwanese-American entrepreneurs behind Twitch, Guitar Hero, Kabam, Playdom, HTC Vive, Gen.G, and more.
Who is it for?
- Motivated students and recent grads who are plugged into builder circles on campus

What will you do?
- Meet founders at clubs, hackathons, in class, and at events
- Share what ikigai Launchpad offers
- Evaluate and log startups in Notion
- Make warm intros with our team
Time commitment: about 2 to 4 hours per week
